Delete your FlouMe account
FlouMe (developer: clodevo) lets you permanently delete your account and the data tied to it directly from inside the app. You can also email us if you can't access the app for any reason.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest, fully automated)
- Open FlouMe and sign in.
- Tap your profile (Me tab, bottom right) → tap the settings icon (gear, top right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- A confirmation screen appears. Type
DELETE(in capitals) to confirm. - Tap Permanently delete account.
Your account, and everything cascaded from it (below), is deleted from our servers immediately. The app signs you out.
Option 2 — Email request (use if you've lost access to the app)
If you can't open the app, email us at contact@clodevo.com with the subject line "Delete my FlouMe account" and include the email address you signed up with (or your FlouMe handle if you remember it).
We will:
- Confirm we received your request within 3 business days.
- Verify ownership of the account (typically by emailing a one-time verification link to that address).
- Delete the account and its data within 7 days of verification.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted (either way), the following is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile (email, display name, handle, avatar, bio).
- Every photo you've pinned (originals + thumbnails) and any voice notes attached to them.
- Every friendship, follow, and block involving your account.
- Every drop claim you've ever made (the QR codes go dead).
- Every trip you own (your participation in trips owned by others is removed; the trips themselves survive for the other participants).
- Every wishlist entry, pin gift, and puzzle record.
- Your push notification tokens so we can never reach your devices again.
- Your in-app analytics events (which screens you viewed, which actions you took).
- Your crash diagnostics held by our error-tracking provider (Sentry).
The deletion cascades through Supabase (our database) — there is no soft-delete, no archive, no recovery period. Once deleted, it is gone.
What may be retained (and why)
A small number of records are kept after deletion, only where the law requires us to:
- Authentication audit logs (created by Supabase Auth) retain the account's email address and last sign-in IP for up to 90 days. These are isolated from the application data and are not visible to any other user.
- Aggregated analytics counts (e.g. "total drops claimed last week") may already have been rolled up into anonymous totals that no longer identify you. These are not reversed because they don't contain personal data.
- Anything you've shared publicly that someone else screenshotted or saved before your deletion is, of course, outside our control.
